Our Pastor

Dr. Chuck Summers is pastor of the First Christian Church. He began serving in this capacity in January of 2008. Chuck is originally from Paducah, Kentucky. He attended college at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. Chuck also obtained two master's degrees and a doctorate from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has been a minister for over thirty years, serving churches in Kentucky and Tennessee. He is married to Bonita Summers. Chuck is also an award-winning nature photographer. He has published three books of his photography, including the coffee table book Kentucky: Unbridled Spirit and Beauty. Chuck’s passions are teaching/preaching God’s word and sharing the beauty of God’s creation through his photography.
